OUR ACADEMY PROGRAMS

Welcome to the Little Rookies program, where the love for the game begins and young dreams take their first steps onto the field. This is where budding talents, filled with energy and enthusiasm, embark on their football journey, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for the beautiful game.

The program started as a result of the overwhelming request from current Academy parents inquiring about their younger siblings, We then met with Eastern Lions SC to discuss their interest for EFDA to become their partner and to run their Little Rookies program. We have now extended this program with a partnership with the Knox United Soccer Club Summer Program.

Our 'Little Rookies' program is designed as a nurturing ground, a safe and fun environment where our youngest players discover the joy of kicking a ball, making friends, and learning the fundamental skills of football. 

Here, we celebrate the excitement of those first dribbles, the joy of scoring their inaugural goals, and the growth that comes with each practice. Our dedicated coaches ensure a positive and supportive atmosphere, guiding these young talents as they take their initial steps towards becoming confident, skilled players.

 A program tailored for young footballers from 5 to 8 years old.

We operate every Saturday from 10:30am - 12:00pm (aligned with regular School terms), at Gardiners Creek Reserve, Sixth Avenue, Burwood East, VIC, 3125.
