OVERSEAS OPPORTUNITIES
INTERNATIONAL TOURS & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Since 2014, EFDA have provided many players with the opportunity to undertake overseas experiences in several countries across Europe.
Alongside professional coaches, players and staff that facilitate a professional sporting environment, our youth have the opportunity to European football training and competition with licensed coaches and the chance to be scouted by a European professional football club. So far we have had the opportunity to experience tours in England, Italy and Holland thus far.
TOURNAMENTS
This addition to our overseas opportunities will be to compete and participate in professionally organised tournaments around Europe. We have received expressions of interest from European academies to attend tournaments in Holland, Belgium and Portugal against amateur and professional football clubs.
PROFESSIONAL TRIALS AND OPPORTUNITIES
An exciting part of the overseas tours is the opportunity for players to be professionally scouted and invited to trial for elite clubs across Europe. Subsequent to official meetings between our partners and affiliates overseas, we have collaboratively developed a common goal for Australian youth players to succeed abroad in professional football clubs. At EFDA, we aim to provide our players with the opportunities to achieve their goals at all levels of football.
